If you’re familiar with Conjur, started by fellow alum Kevin Gilpin, then you know that they have been getting traction with devops and their security platform. Fellow alum Andy Palmer sits on the board. On November 5th, PRLog carried the story:
WALTHAM, Mass. – Nov. 5, 2015 – PRLog — Conjur, Inc (https://www.conjur.net/)., today announced that Box (https://www.box.com/) has selected its security orchestration platform to enable the company’s operations and regulatory teams to identify, authorize and audit a wide range of applications and infrastructure that Box uses to operate its service, as well as provide increased transparency and valuable reporting.
But Conjur hasn’t just landed Box, they have some other big wins:
Conjur is providing Box with the same proven security platform that it has implemented at enterprises such as Netflix, Cisco and PuppetLabs. Through a self-auditing, role based access control (RBAC) model for people, machines and code, Conjur is fully programmable, highly available across any cloud and easily integrates with modern IT tool chains.
Congrats to Kevin and co-founder Elizabeth Lawler, CEO on another big win!
